Doves of the Latter Rain

Kari BrowningBlog, Prophetic Words

In March 2007, I was ministering at a conference in Salt Lake City (with Cindy McGill, Shawn Bolz, Randy Demain, and Paula Benne). On route to the conference, Randy Demain told his driver that he often has doves appear in the natural when he gives a message entitled “Doves of the Latter Rain.” To their amazement, a dove started flying next to their vehicle. When they arrived at the church, a group of us were staring at the roof as there were two doves perched on top of it!
The Latter Rain Revival began on February 12, 1948, in a bible school in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. William Branham had been used as a catalyst for that Revival. William Branham was given the power to discern people’s illnesses and the secrets of their hearts.
William Branham was a source of inspiration for many healing ministries, such as Oral Roberts, AA Allen, Jack Coe, and others. Between 1947 and 1958, healing evangelists went into the entire world praying for the sick. They filled tents and auditoriums around the country and multitudes were healed, converted, and churches were planted as a result. (Many healing testimonies from that period of time are recorded in Gordon Lindsay’s “Voice of Healing” magazine.)
There was a special bond between William Branham and Paul Cain. Branham would send Paul Cain in his place when he couldn’t fulfill a commitment he had made. Paul Cain was commissioned by William Branham into the ministry at age 17 in Grants Pass, Oregon. Paul often saw crowds of thousands in his tent meetings and he would operate in high-level words of knowledge and healings would occur.
Mary M Dorian had a vision in 2011. She saw a rainbow over Lake Coeur d’Alene and saw that every color represented a promise and she heard the words “Fulfillment of Promise.” She saw people coming to Coeur d’Alene again because there would be another outpouring of the rain of God’s Spirit. She saw that I was given a gold watch and I would know the time.
After she shared her vision with me, we invited her (along with Wyatt and Claudia Baca-Moore) to Coeur d’Alene in May 2011 for a conference we entitled “It’s a Matter of Time.” When she arrived, the Holy Spirit told her that there would be a rainbow in the natural over Lake Coeur d’Alene to confirm the word she had sent me prior. During that conference, a rainbow appeared over our building in the shape of the infinity sign and a rainbow appeared over the lake at the very same moment. We were in awe as we were standing outside of our building in downtown Coeur d’Alene and saw both of them simultaneously. Flying next to the rainbow over Lake Coeur d’Alene was an eagle. Before this happened, I had been drawn to a picture by Robert Bartow of a rainbow and an eagle in our prayer room called “Land of Promise.”
We hosted a conference on February 12, 2012, that we called “The Fullness of Time.” We were proclaiming that the power they experienced in the Latter Rain Revival was going to be restored. Dr. James Maloney ministered and God TV filmed it. Dr. James Maloney operates in a similar gift as William Branham. An angel of the Lord stands next to him and he has panoramic visions and receives high-level words of knowledge. Many people receive miracles and healing in their bodies.
At the conference, I interviewed James Watt, who was the last living elder of the Latter Rain Revival. I also interviewed A. A. Allen’s granddaughter, Cheryl Bryan. (A.A. Allen was one of the most prominent healing revivalists during the Latter Rain Revival and had a substantial following up until the time of his death in 1970.)
Prior to that event, Mary Dorian was in prayer when God told her to tell Paul Keith Davis, who was one of the speakers at the conference, to revisit an article he had written about doves in 2007. She was impressed that it was for our upcoming event. That article had been published on Elijah List and was entitled “Doves to Their Lattices.” Of course, I read it with great expectation. Here is an excerpt from that article:
“I (Paul Keith Davis) had a fascinating revelatory encounter that was immensely encouraging. In it I was standing in a desert area looking into the sky. As I contemplated the beautiful blue sky, I noticed what resembled a small hole or opening in the heavens that quickly enlarged. It looked as though the veil separating the natural and spiritual realms opened. As it did, I watched as seven white doves quickly flew through what looked like a portal. Following the doves, a thick dark cloud emerged that I instantly knew represented the Lord’s presence. I suddenly screamed out, “It’s happening, it’s really happening.” For me, this phrase signified the arrival of this generation’s promised day of visitation.”
I was talking to Paul Keith Davis and he told me that he had received a text from Chuck Pierce telling him that everywhere he ministered in 2012, that he would be releasing a spirit of revival. Paul Keith said as he read the text, he had a “Kari Browning moment” as a beautiful rainbow appeared in the natural. He then told me to listen to a recent message from Larry Randolph that was pertinent to the theme of our upcoming conference. As I was listening, I remembered that Larry Randolph had been our speaker at the first conference we hosted on February 12, 1999, (exactly 13 years prior), entitled “Free to Fly.” We decorated with rainbows, somebody sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and we released a dove named “Destiny” from a box as a prophetic act. If that wasn’t enough to excite me, it began to rain very hard in the natural as I was listening to Larry’s message about the coming rain.
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. (Song of Songs 2:12)
Kim Clement prophesied that a shift would take place in February 2012. He said it would be the beginning of a seven-year period and that there would be a death – and everybody would know about it – and then there would be life that would begin to manifest. Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012, and Paul Cain died at the end of the seven-year period on February 12, 2019.
Paul Cain died on the same date the Latter Rain Revival began. I believe his passing marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new season. The doves of the latter rain are being released and are free to fly. A generation is arising who will move in both purity and remarkable demonstrations of power. God is faithful and He fulfills His promises.
“By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” (Hebrews 11:11)
