Glory of the Latter House

Bob Sorge said in his book Glory, When Heaven Invades Earth:
“When you have a spiritual experience that is actually perceived at the sensory/physical level, then you’re touching the glory realm.”
Moses prayed, “Now show me your Glory.” (Exodus 33:18)
Moses witnessed the glory of God. He stood before a burning bush and heard God’s audible voice. His rod turned into a snake and he saw water pour forth from a rock. He saw God part the Red Sea. He tasted manna from heaven. He saw a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. He “went up” and sat on the sapphire sea with the 70 elders and he ate and drank with them.
Isaiah also experienced God’s glory at the sensory/physical level. Isaiah saw the Lord sitting upon a throne and he heard the seraphim cry out “Holy, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” He felt the building shake and smelled the smoke, and he felt the live coal from the altar touch his lips. (See Isaiah 6:2-7)
In 2006, Todd Bentley gave Jeff Jansen a message from the Lord. He told Jeff that if he would go to four cities in South Africa (Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town), that he would be given four keys and he could recover ‘the mantle’ of William Branham (a healing evangelist from the Latter Rain Revival). When Jeff told me about receiving this directive word, I told him that I had been to South Africa several times and could set up meetings in those four cities.
We embarked on a journey to South Africa where we had some amazing supernatural experiences. We even met a precious older woman, named Lillian, who had been raised from her deathbed when she was a young girl at a Branham meeting in Durban. She had been transported by ambulance to the meeting but could not get in because of the huge crowds. While she was laying outside on a hospital gurney, her sister was prophesied over by Branham and he accurately detailed Lillian’s condition and pronounced that she was healed. Even though Lillian was outside, she was instantly healed and she still had a thriving ministry even in her advanced years.
While in South Africa, God revealed four keys to experiencing the glory realm. They are: worship, intercession, unity, and sacrificial love. After I received the revelation, I was reminded of the passage in 2 Chronicles 5 where Solomon was dedicating the temple and it was filled with a glory cloud and the priests could not even stand to minister. I realized they were in unison, they were worshipping, praying, and offering sacrifices.
The first time I experienced “the glory realm” was in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, in 2000, at a conference hosted by Richard Keet Sr. The conference was called “Moving into the Apostolic.” Before going, I shared publicly that I heard stories about feathers falling in meetings, and that Bob Jones said it was symbolic of a “feather pillow” and God was looking for a resting place. (See Isaiah 66:1)
At the first meeting I spoke at in Port Elizabeth, lots of feathers began to fall. Later, I found out that not everyone saw them. About a dozen people told me they saw the feathers and one man said that he went to pick some up, but they disappeared. (When I watched the video recording of the meeting, some of the feathers were visible.)
In 2002, I returned to South Africa with Joy Parrott. Before going, someone had a dream of me standing at a whiteboard and I said, “Now, I am going to teach you on the heavenly realm.” Since I knew little about the “heavenly realm,” I taught Patricia King’s Glory School material while there. During the meetings in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, we saw gold dust manifest, we smelled fragrances, gemstones appeared, and some of the young people saw angels come and feed them hot bread from heaven. I was forever changed by that experience.
The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 40:5)
In 2006, we also experienced the “glory realm” in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. People traveled from all over the world to our church to experience it. It was both glorious and disheartening. I became disillusioned with the self-promotion and jealousy I witnessed. Some people even started to counterfeit the manifestations. By 2008, I was so disillusioned that I no longer wanted to be associated with it. That year, I went to Durban, South Africa, with Randy Demain, to speak at Shiloh Church where Lindi Leigh Forbes Masters was the pastor. I sensed such a hunger and purity in her congregation, that I ended up sharing the four keys to experiencing the glory realm (worship, intercession, unity, and sacrificial love) and they put them into practice.
The following year, Randy Demain and I returned to South Africa with Paul Keith Davis and JoAnn McFatter. After a series of meetings, Paul Keith and JoAnn left on a Sunday morning to fly home. Randy and I were scheduled to minister at Lindi’s church in Durban that evening. I’ll never forget that meeting!
It was the Day of Atonement 2009. Randy boldly told people that morning to bring the sick because God was going to heal them. In addition to people being healed that night, an unusual sign occurred. Two of the worship leaders received dental crowns – one received a gold crown and one received a silver crown. Because of the excesses I had seen in the past, I questioned the two worship leaders privately and I became fully convinced this was a genuine miracle.
I believe there was a message in the sign of the gold and silver crowns. It is found in the book of Haggai.
This is what the Lord Almighty says: In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord Almighty. The SILVER is mine and the GOLD is mine, declares the Lord Almighty. The GLORY OF THE LATTER HOUSE will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the Lord Almighty. And in this place I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty. (Haggai 2:6-9)
The Apostle Paul tells us that the glory of the New Covenant is even greater than the glory that Moses experienced under the Old Covenant. (See 2 Corinthians 3:7-18)
Bob Sorge wrote: “Heaven’s Glory will be so intense that we will look back on what Moses experienced and call it ‘no glory.’”
I believe that the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former!
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)
